The First Photos of the long awaited Illuminated Nightowl Bollard

Shown here above in our reception area with the office lighting switched on.

Now with the lighting off. As you can see the complete bollard shows up well even with ambient lighting.
The bollard comes complete with a duct box (minimum IP67 rated) housing the factory sealed lighting circuit. 

The bollard is powered by a new generation LED bulb with super efficient  circuit to make it the most cost efficient bollard in the marketplace.

New Recycled Seating Design

A fresh new style Stainless Steel Seat complete with recycled wooden slats.
The new type of 100% recycled material which is composed from 50% sawdust & 50% HDPE.
It also offers great weather resistance & low water absorption, impervious to rot and wood eating organisms. Fireproof resistance and crack resistant.

Big Max Defeated by Attack of the Darleks

Since the demise of the Big Max Cable Cover Bollard, Street Furnishings has the answer for a suitable Bollard to be put out on site to cover temporarily a damaged keep left bollard or centre island or lamp column.

Scott's Shadowing day @ Street Furnishings Ltd

Street Furnishings opened their doors today to a very special guest!

Scott has decided to join us for the day on his Shadowing Day from his Secondary School.

Once settled in at the office with his first Fanta of the day, (having already helped on a delivery and collection with his Dad) 
We asked him to help us in producing a permanent area directional sign to be used in the Windsor area. (we dont think for the Queen)

Firstly starting with an Aluminium Blank.

We cut the required lettering on a computer with a plotter. The black vinyl then had to be weeded. This means you have to remove all the unwanted vinyl to just leave the lettering and numbers that we needed for the sign.

After the vinyl letters were visable we covered them with application tape ( sticky backed paper) we then applied pressure to the application paper so that the letters were then transfered to the paper.

We then applied the lettering and numbers to the aluminium blank. All that was then left to do was to remove the application tape.

Tesco Yiewsley use Walkway Bollards

The new Tesco Store in Yiewsley Middx have just installed our Walkway Bollards as an option to have economical bollard that can be easily replaced in the case of an accident.

The Walkway Bollards are supplied complete with a contrasting reflective strip making them totally DDA compliant (Disability Discrimination Act).

The Walkway Bollards also come complete with a socket, which in the eventof any damage remains fixed in the ground and a replacement top is simply inserted into the socket.

Manchester Bollards

A few shots of our Cast Polyurethane Manchester Bollards.

A Classic design, these bollards recently installed in Berkshire.

These are cast polyurethane bollards on a steel core and can be supplied as a fixed version or as removable complete with a socket which can be padlocked in place. (As pictured above).
There is also a brand new flexible version, ideal for car parks where the odd bump from car bumpers is inevitable, with the flxible version neither car or bollard are damaged.
As the Bollards are made of polyurethane they are considerably lighter in weight than cast iron making it easier for lifting when removing the bollard from the socket. 
The product is also an extremely tough product being highly vandal resistant.
